The mission of these three creatures is to keep evil from straying from the path of utter damnation.
Nova Vaasan legend maintains that the furies were born of three vain daughters who wandered into the Mists demanding the respect, and seeking the adoration, that each thought she so richly merited. [VRGttM pg. 60]
