Andor Merriwite

A character from the Tapestry of Dark Souls novel, Andor Merriwether was the husband of Dirca and the brother-in-law of Ivar. He operated the Nocturne inn with them and the winery connected to it with Ivar. Like them, Andor was a Gundarakite refuge who settled in Linde. Unlike them, he was a lycanthrope able to hide his heritage thanks to a Silver Amulet of the Beast given to him by Ivar. He was actually one of several [lycanthrope]]s quietly and discretely residing in Linde.

During [[Morgoth]'s rise to power, Andor fell under his influence thanks to the machinations of {{Maeve (Lycanthrope)|Maeve]]. Andor was among the werewolves sent to attack the Monastery in Markovia. Fortunately, he came about his wits as the battle wound down, and he joined in its defense in the face of Morgoth's second attack, this time with undead.

At the end of ToDS, Andor has somehow come to peace with Maeve, somehow despite their previous antagonisms. He lived through Morgoth's return, but his wife Dirca was not so lucky.
