Genspejle

The Genspejle ("Mirror River") races down into Nova Vaasa from the Howling Hills of Barovia. It turns south through the Graenseskov ("Borderwood") and by the time it crosses into Hazlan, its descent has levelled to the point that its mirror like surface is nigh undisturbed by ripples. Its eastern bank is frequented by painters eager to catch in its waters the reflection of the sun sinking beneath the Balinoks. The Saniset River is joined from the north by the Genspejle in Sly-Var. The Saniset then holds true to its east by southeast course as it flows gently to the Nocturnal Sea. The lower reaches of the Genspejle are perfectly navigable. Its waters are celebrated for their purity and are an important source of water for an often patched land.
