Strigos Road

The Via Strigos ("Rawboned Road"), which is more popularly known as the Strigos Road, will join the East Timori Road at Liara to the Argenteus Road and the Tempe Road just west of Tempe Falls. It is actually the reopening of a pre-existing route destroyed during the Scourge of Arak. It cuts across the Mountains of Misery. It will skirt the western flanks of Mount Nyid and cross the Amnis Lacrimarum ("River of Tears") southwest of Mount Nirka whichis the river's source. The date of completion or even the state of progress is unknown. Several new bridges and tunnels are required however. Trade along the road will confront not only the challenges offered by the Mountains of Misery, but equally that of the Nova Vaasan rate of taxation which is even more punititve than that charged by Falkovia.
