Nikolai (Sr.) is a deceased NPC from the 5th Edition module Curse of Strahd. In life, he was husband to Lady Fiona Wachter and father to Stella Wachter and to Nikolai and Karl Wachter. Three years prior to the module, he perished of disease. His body has been preserved by the Gentle Repose spell cast by Lady Fiona, and she secretly sleeps with his cadaver every night.[1]
