The Withered Rat is perverse and vile being with some amount of divinity that is fanatically worshiped by Gerard Renier. He made a pact with it to animate Simon Audaire and thereby start up the Cult of Simon Audaire.[1] Pierre makes regular sacrifices to the Withered Rat in the Rat-Mummy Temple in the Catacombs of Ste. Ronges.[2]
