Called the "the folk of the laughing crow" by Tevye Calvanov^[1], the Simiurka clan was a Vistani Family said to have become cursed for some unknown transgression, disappeared for forty years before the time that Tevye spoke with the Weathermay-Foxgrove Twins. Tevye described an encounter with his love Annalysnya (whom was of the Simiukas) and her cursed relatives, saying they were marked by blood-filled, rotten mouths and blood-stained teeth. The horror caused Tevye to run away from him, forsaking his promise to be reunited with her. But he expected the powers that be would make them soon meet again.<ref>Van Richten's Guide to Mists p. 75-26
