In the Saga of Pavel, Heir to the Sun, the Third Guardian of Darkness was a loup garou that stood between Pavel and the piece of the sun Pavel needed to get his inheritance. Pavel slew the Third Guardian and then used its bloody pelt to defeat the fourth Guardian of Darkness.[1]
