The Last to Leave were a trio of beholders that followed the Headless Horseman in attacking adventurers during the Grand Conjunction. In the encounter, the Last to Leave took the place of the Last to Follow, a group of medusa and maedar heads that usually follow the Headless Horseman. Although capable of flight, the Last to Leave were unusual for beholders in that their preferred locomotion was bouncing and rolling about unpredictably.[1]
