Gagg Shinbreaker
Gagg Shinbreaker was a shaman of the orc tribe of Bloodhands. After the Bloodhand tribe was drawn into the Demiplane of Dread, Gagg became dissatisfied with the leadership of Larga Bloodhand and led a breakaway faction that attempted to sacrifice Sybil Raisa and Ixusaxa Terrorsong to Gruumsh.[1]
History
Gagg Shinbreaker was a priest of Gruumsh and one of three shamans serving under Larga Bloodhand. Fortunes went bad for the Bloodhands when Larga was kidnapped by yuan-ti. To make matters worse, the Bloodhands and much of the surounding land was swallowed by the Mists and brought into Barovia. Although Gagg made a claim for her title in her absence. Although Larga was eventually liberated, Gagg came to believe that the tribe's relocation to this strange land was Gruumsh's punishment for a great transgression.
Gagg professed that only the sacrifice of one or both of the tribe's then-prisoners Sybil Raisa and Ixusaxa Terrorsong. An argument ensued among the Bloodhand's shamans, which resulting in Gagg's treacherous murder of another shaman. Larga punished Gagg's betrayal with exile. Although exiled, Gagg remained certain of the sacrifice's necessity. He led a faction of his supporters into the Bloodhand camp as they slept and made off with boty Sybil and Ixusaxa.
To rid herself of the betrayers, Larga allied with some adventurers and attacked Gagg's rebel force. Gagg was defeated before Sybil and Ixusaxa could be sacrificed].
