The silver locket

The silver locket was an unnamed artifact of unspecified origin used by Esmae Amarantha to extract and briefly bind the essence of the vestige known as the Evening Glory before the merging of Esmae with the Evening Glory. For unknown reasons, it was left behind in the vault of the Amber Temple. It may have later been found by adventurers and used to bind the Evening Glory once again, cutting Esmae off from the Evening Glory's power.

Insribed with a heart enveloped by roses, the silver locket otherwise looks nonmagical and even nonimpressive locket with tarnished silver. The locket is hinged but unable to be opened by any means magical or mundane. Nor it is possible to discern what the locket holds.
