According to the Book of Murderers by Magnus Wolfsbane, the Tailor of Maykle[1] was a serial killer in Maykle that killed six victims. The bodies were discovered in the victims' respective workplaces, their corpses defiled with the sewing of their eyes, noses, and mouths shut. The arms and torso of the corpses were also marked by festering wounds upon discovery, though suffocation was determined as the killing method. Notably, the corpse of Master Gullsby White had the words "A timely stitch slays six."

Popular rumor holds that the killer was Master Eber Alloways. Supposedly, he killed the alleged perpetrators in retaliation for setting fire to his shop and residence and subsequently also killing his two daughters Petreka and Alsanea. The fire was said to have been brought about through the actions of Master Alloways' rivals, so there was motivation ofr Alloways to get revenge. However, a dearth of evidence ditacted the case be dismissed. Also,Alloway is known to have been living in Corvia at the time of the Tailor's murders.
