The Swarm is a race of inhuman predators that inhabit the interior of an asteroid domain constantly at war with a space god venerating theocratic society of humanoid priests. Controlled by a single hive mind, the Swarm was thought to have been made intelligent when a traitorous priest made his mind one with theirs.[1]
