Liberté is a mythical land of freedom for the Souragnien commoners, said to be reachable by voyaging into the Mists. However few come back (and fewer still with their minds intact.) Those speaking of this place are hunted down and silenced by the nobility of Souragne. Élie Belenfant preaches that Liberté can only be reached through hard work and submission to your bosses and employers.
