Fairy Stools

Fairy stools are a species of mushroom native to Tepest. They exhibit explosive growth and reproduction when exposed to certain types of magical energy. In particular, they react to creatures that shift shape, creatures with spell-like abilities, sorcerers, and spells from the conjuration, divination, enchantment and transmutation schools. Fairy stools are used by the Tepestani Inquisition in attempt to identify the fey and those who have fallen under their influence. [Gaz V 50] It is probable that fairy stools are also similarly put to use by the Syndicate of Enlightened Citizens.
