Kingsnake

The Kingsnake is native to Nova Vaasa. It is harmless to man and is immune to the venom of the other snakes of Nova Vaasa and perhaps to snake venmon in generally. It voraciously hunts other snakes and should be left to its work. 
It might be the snake that appears on the Bolshnik family emblem.
