In 712 BC, the ancestors of the dwarves of Tombdust Hall on Mount Nirka arose as undead and attempted to destroy their living descendants. In the grim struggle which followed, the residents of Tombdust Hall made use of the devices known as dragon packs for the first time in recorded history.
