A corpse is a body, typically of a human or humanoid, from which the life has fled in the not distant past, which is to stipulate that the body needs to be more than a mere skeleton. Corpses are much sought after by university medical departments, medical researchers, necromancers, and flesh golemcrafters, as well as by ghouls. A corpse may walk again by being granted unlife. Generally, the flesh of corpses granted unlife as zombies or other walking undead ceases to disintegrate, such that the creature does not, in the end, resemble a skeleton.
