Rite of Revelation

The Rite of Revelation is the method the Church of Ezra uses to recognize new bastions.

The Rite of Revelation requires prospective Bastions to do the following:

  • Write a new Book of Ezra, which will serve as canon for the sect
  • Personally deliver a copy to the Great Cathedral of Levkarest, for review by the Praesidius;
  • Win the approval of the Praesidius;
  • Manifest a previously unseen variety of the shield of Ezra;
  • Find five anchorites who manifest an identical shield of Ezra.
