Doubt

Doubt and faith form a pair. To have no faith, to doubt everything, is to descend into madness. To have no doubts, to have unadulterated faith, is an innocence that will neither last nor end well. Faith with too little doubt invites exploitation. Doubt with too little faith invites paranoia. Doubt is questioning of belief but is questioning of belief within limits. One can question anything, but one cannot question everything.
