Worked Stone

Worked stone is stone that is no longer in its natural state, having been cut, polished, or otherwise deliberately modified. The distincion is of metaphysical importance to the dwarves. A Hulzurdan (Dwarven Vampire), for example, cannot arise from the remains of a dwarf interred within uncut stone.
