Modelled after Renaissance France, Dementlieu is led by the political puppet lord-governor Marcel Guignol, though the domain is truly ruled by the charismatic and manipulative Dominic D'Honaire. It is considered the cultural heart of the Core.

The Treaty of the Four Towers is a defensive alliance between the nations of Richemulot, Borca, Mordent and Dementlieu against Falkovinia. This treaty was created by the Josephine Chantreaux.
