Ste. Mere des Larmes was an abandoned cathedral dedicated to Ezra that was discovered in that Port-a-Lucine and that in fact predated the known foundation of the Church of Ezra itself. Joan Secousse would in 709 BC set down on paper the revelations that she received from her study of the cathedral, subsequently known as the Third Book of Ezra, and a new sect of the Church of Ezra was well on its way to being born.
