Silphium Resin

Silphium resin is a poison, a drug, and a medication derived from the silphium plant. It is popular as a general curative of some effect again minor ailments. Its principle merit, however, is as a means of birth control when dissolved in wine. Siphium resin prevents conception and it terminates, within several days at most, any existing pregnancy. It is used in particular by the dread doppelgangers of Paridon to terminate doppelganger-pregnancies or to prepare a women for such a pregnancy.
