The giant rat, also called the dire rat in 3rd Edition,[1], is a larger version of its normal [[rat|kindred].
Giant rats appear when the borders of Richemulot close[2][3]. They can be frequenntly encountered across many domains including the following:Barovia[4], Forlorn[5], Hazlan[6], Kartakass[7]
They are all too frequently encountered in the domain of Nosos.[8]
