Captain Garvyn commanded, as of 724 BC, the Endurance.[1] Ship He had been cursed by the Dark Powers for dumping overboard the corpses of Madeline Stern, Jacob, and Charlotte Reisland which he had been hired to deliver to Todstein[2] In consequence, his ship, became the Ship of Horrors and remained so until the curse was broken in 737 BC, whereupon the captain and his vessel were returned to whence they had come beyond the Mists.[3]
